Leave In Zihuatanejo

Deloyment orders must exceed 270 days before a soldier is authorized a 15-day leave. After a frustrating 53-hour trip home (21 flight hours) from Addis Ababa, to Rome, to Washington Dulles...then a weather cancellation requirinng an overnight hotel stay...an $80 taxi to Reagan National and finally home.

After one night at home, it was off to Zihuatanejo, Mexico...all worth it.
